If you’re up for some climbing, the Geumjeongsan area has some serious hills to conquer within Busan city limits. In just over 40 kilometers of riding, you’ll get a lot of elevation on this ride. You could ride this route either clockwise- or counterclockwise, but we recommend riding counterclockwise up Geumjeongsan. With 4.5 kilometer at 8%, this is definitely not the easiest climb. But it takes you over what may be the most beautiful hill in the city. The corners and hairpins give it a great flow while the trees and streams keep you cool, even on hot days. Together with the ascent of Mandeok Pass, you’ll be climbing about half of the time on this ride, a serious effort.
