The Yeongnam Alps stretch all the way to the north of Ulsan. A great variation on more familiar rides in this area is the Soho Loop. After riding up a steady climb north of Eonyang (known for it’s iconic ship-shaped restaurant on the way) you’ll enjoy a long and smooth descent. Instead of continuing to Unmun Lake, on this ride you’ll take a right and loop back up the hill through a quiet valley. On the way back, this route has you riding back over the grueling Baenaegol Tunnel climb. A long descent is again your reward and before you know it you’re back on the Nakdong River to wind down.
