Classics Series

The riding around Busan is versatile. The combination of seaside, farmland and hills makes it possible to do rides that resemble the five monuments of pro cycling.

Haeundae Sanremo
Dalmaji hill reminds a lot of the Poggio, the last hill before finish of Milano-Sanremo, the classic that goes by the Mediterranean Sea. The flattish course could make this a fast training ride.
119 km ● 830 m ● Start/finish: Suyeong River

Ulsan Flanders
A ride with a lot of short, steep climbs. Some of them are on smaller, rougher roads. Ride your own Tour of Flanders in the South of Ulsan.
111 km ● 1.520 m ● Start/finish: Suyeong River

Gimhae Roubaix
Something else: flat, concrete farmer roads that remind of Paris-Roubaix – including a velodrome finish.
73.7 km ● 100 m ● Start: Deokpo Station ● Finish: Samrak Velodrome

Ulju Liège
Like Liège-Bastogne-Liège, this is a ride for the puncheurs, over lesser used provincial roads in Ulju County.
112 km ● 1.290 m ● Start/finish: Hopo Station

La Flèche Busanne
The Flèche Wallonne is famous for the extremely steep final climb up Mur de Huy. In the Busan area you’ll find many short climbs that take everything out of your lungs and legs, like the Mur de Lee.
61.1 km ● 1.100 m ● Start: Suyeong River ● Finish: Mur de Lee

Yeongnam Alps Lombardia
A classic ride for lovers of medium length climbs. The scenery of the Yeongnam Alps is especially spectacular in the fall, like the Giro di Lombardia.
109 km ● 2.270 m ● Start/finish: Hopo Station
