This route takes you past Songdo Beach, where you can see ships parked in the distance and witness the recently installed cable car that spans across the sea front. It then snakes by Amnam Park before heading up a short climb towards the many frozen seafood storage facilities. After making a second pass by the beachfront, there is a long straightaway that makes for a great place to put in a sprint. The route then passes right by Jagalchi Fish Market before crossing a bridge by Lotte Department Store to take you to Yeong-do Island, one of the last civilian areas that survived the Korean War. There you will make your way around the island and up a climb that gives you a spectacular view of the ocean and ships idle in the bay. After passing a famous temple that faces outwards towards the Japanese Island of Tsushima (Daema-do), you will make your way back through the busy city streets until you reach the main strip of Nampo-dong, where you can find numerous cafes and restaurants, a great place for a break before finish off the ride where it all began.
