The Nakdong river bike path from Busan to Andong is part of the K-Water 4 Rivers Project. You can buy a bike passport at checkpoints (except Yangsan) or through this link. At every checkpoint you’ll find a red London telephone booth, where you can collect a stamp for in the passport. When you’re getting closer to Andong, you’ll pass by the Hahoe Folk Village, worth checking out.
The passport costs about ₩4000. There are enough places along the way to sleep and eat, so for this trip you can pack light.
The information on the K-Water website ‘Riverguide’ about the route and checkpoints is not very accurate. If you were to plan your own (day) trips from checkpoint to checkpoint, you’ll find the exact location of the checkpoints here.
