What type of rider are you?
당신은 어떤 타입의 라이더인가요?
I am a kind of leisure rider. I like bike to uphill more than downhill.
사이클링을 즐기는 생활라이더(?) 설명하기 어렵네요^^; 다운힐 보다는 업힐타는 것을 좋아합니다.
How many days per week do you ride?
일주일에 며칠이나 자전거를 타시나요?
I ride my bicycle to work every day, except on rainy days.
매일 아침 자전거로 출퇴근을 하고 거의 모든 생활을 자전거와 함께하기 때문에 비 오는 날을 제외한 모든 날을 자전거를 탑니다.
What is your favorite bike?
가장 좋아하는 자전거는 무엇인가요?
Giant Envie Advanced Pro 이고 애칭은 ‘바람이’입니다.
I ride a Giant Envie Advanced Pro and I call it ‘windy’.
Please introduce yourself, and your cycling experience.
간략히 자기소개와 사이클링 커리어에 대해서 소개해주세요.
I am currently high school art teacher. I’ve been cycling for about 13 years. I am not a professional rider but I am honored to do this interview. My hometown is in Gyeonggido: Anyang. Five years ago I moved to Busan. When I lived in Anyang I was part of a cycling club and rode from Anyang to Sokcho. Whilst living in Busan I joined some MikeBike group rides. These days I mostly ride with my friends. This summer, my goal is to ride from Busan to Seoul!
저는 현재 고등학교에서 미술을 가르치고 있습니다. 자전거를 타기 시작한지는 13년정도 되었고 저는 전문라이더는 아니지만 이렇게 라이더 인터뷰에 초대되어 영광입니다^^. 경기도 안양에서 부산에 이사온지는 5년정도 되었고 경기도 안양에서는 동호회 활동을 해서 속초까지 원정라이딩을 한 경험이있었어요. 부산에서는 마이크바이크 그룹라이딩에만 몇 번 참여를 했었고 요즘은 주로 친구와 둘이 탑니다. 올해 여름에는 부산에서 서울까지 라이딩 트립을 하는것이 목표에요!

What is your favorite route?
가장 좋아하는 루트와 그 이유는?
Suyeong-Haeundae-Songjeong-Ilgwang-Cheolma-Suyeong
I like this course because it is a good mixture of flat and hilly terrain. I’ve ridden this route several times on group rides. It was a lot of fun, because I rode with a variety of good people.
수영-해운대-송정-일광-철마-수영
평지와 오르막이 적절히 섞여 있어 타는 재미가 있습니다. 그룹 라이딩을 할 때 몇 번 가봤는데 아마 여러 좋은 사람들과 함께해서 더 즐겁고 좋았던 것 같습니다.
What is your favorite road in the Busan area?
부산 내의 가장 좋아하는 로드는 어디인가요?
I like the road from Igidae to Oryukdo, close to Gwangan-ri. Even though it is a short ride, it is very hilly and has a beautiful scenery. My second favorite is the road up the East Coast during morning hours: it is my main reason for loving to live here.
이기대에서 오륙도로 가는 길을 좋아합니다. 광안리에서 쉽게 갈 수 있고 총 길이는 짧지만 여러번 업힐도 즐기고 또 아름다운 풍경을 볼 수 있는 좋은 트레이닝 장소입니다. 두번째로는 이른 아침 해가 떠오르는 광안리 바닷가를 자전거로 달리는 것을 가장 좋아합니다. 광안리에 사는 가장 큰 이유기도 해요.
What is your favorite place to stop for a break on this route?
해당 루트에서 휴식 취하기에 가장 적합한 곳으로 어디를 좋아하시나요?
I like to stop for a break at one of the coffee shops in Songjeong. There are a lot of coffee shops with balconies to enjoy the view to choose from.
그룹라이딩을 할 때는 주로 송정에 있는 커피숍에서 휴식 시간을 즐깁니다. 송정에는 바다뷰가 보이면서 넓은 공간에서 휴식을 취할 수 있는 커피숍이 많거든요.
Where would you definitely take a rider who’s new to Busan?
부산에 처음 온 라이더를 데려가고 싶은 곳은?
One of my favorite places in Busan to take new riders is the Haedong Yonggungsa Temple near Songjeong.
